Synthmaster one , two , both VS Player
Hi,
Is there somewhere a chart with IAP soundpacks ? I think some sound packs overlap . I also got One for iphone and currently sound packs are scattered across different versions , so Ideally I'd prefer using the Player only instead having different versions .
(I assume you can't transfer IAPs between those apps)

SM One and SM 2 are two different synthesizers with different synth engines, the latter being the iOS version of desktop Synthmaster. The sound packs are not interchangeable. Version 3 of SM being developed as we speak will be able to play both formats as I understand it.
SM Player only plays sounds from Synthmaster 2 and earlier versions, not anything from SM One.
Would that be correct @lbiyikoglu?

@DMfan thank you very much. Yes exactly.
@Korakios, for the desktop platform we have a preset previewer on our website, you can listen to the samples on each preset bank.

Does SM player have any sounds not available with SM2? I have both but always wondered if there’s any benefit to having both installed (I’m low on space and had to offload Player to keep SM1/2).
Nope. You can to be sure import all your IAPs from SMP into SM2 by pressing in the preset window and click on Restore IAPs for Synthmaster Player. That will import all your SMP IAPs and you can get rid of SMP and only use SM2. However, SM2 is heavier on the processor but on the other hand is a full blown synth.

Oh cool, thanks! I like SM Player for its simple UI. Sometimes I just don’t wanna make presets or deal with the SM2 interface. But on the flip side I do need that extra space.
I guess I'll wait for SM3 to import IAPs from SMP , SM1 and SM1 from iphone
I avoided SM2 , since I already bought in SMP a bundle with SM 2.7/2.8/2.9 factory presets , but to be honest I'd much prefer a universal Player version having all IAPs from all SM apps since I'm not interested on editing or creating custom presets
