    I’ve been using the desktop versions for 15 years. Solid, dependable and professional. I’ve probably learnt more from Dan Worrall’s FF tutorials than from any other music educator. Saying that, I’m stuck at version 2 for most of them and have been using Mixbox lately instead. Something about being limited to 3 knobs and using your ears that’s working for me right now. I still use Timeless 2 and Volcano 2 for creative stuff sometimes but have other alternatives I’m more likely to pick because they’re fresher in my setup. I do want Pro Q3 but I’ve already paid for it twice and Pro Q2 still works great. FF are 1st class though.

    The Fabfilter apps looks creatively fun to use, I enjoy their demo videos, I was able to purchase the bundle at a great Black Friday price, and now I am going to invest some serious time in getting them to work for me.

    I like Toneboosters. But even their plugins are becoming less important now that the Mastering feature was added to Logic Pro.
