Apps to automate time-shape/stretch (like Gross Beat or Timeshaper)
It's 3 days I'm looking non-stop for an app that could effect audio input and modulate playback time, similarly to how Gross-beat does in FL-Studio.
With no luck..
What I've found until now (pls correct me if I write bs):
on Mac and Windows there is Shaperbox with Timeshaper that seems to do the same thing; but is not available for iPad/iOs.
Looperator and Effectrix seem to do time-stretching/modulation; but can they really recreate time slowdowns like grossbeat does?
Both are pretty similar, but would automating time-knob in the DAW allow the same progressive slowdown effect that grossbeat achieves with its curved-lines in the time envelope?Bleass Slow-Machine can do slow down, a bit like Looperator/Effectrix do, but I dunno if is flexible enough to allow modulation of the effect via an automation in the DAW. Just a Slow-Stop button is limited.
GlitchBreaks is nice for slicing and playing chops forward or backward in time (what grossbeat achieves with horizontal lines).
Although is not flexible on the chop/slice length: all blocks are the same. While grossbeat can have chops or arbitrary size.
Also, glitchbreak doesn't really do any time manipulation; no slowdown, no scratches, no stretches, no curves.Drambo might be able to do what I want, but I have no idea how and how complex that is. Ideally I would like something that I can just load as an AU effect, draw a pattern/envelope/automation for the time in a sequencer/envelope, and just get the morphing over my input.
I'm oriented on Looperator or Effectrix, as they are on sale these days and they seem good regardless, for glitch/idm/breaks/dubstep/dnb.
Still, I can't figure out if their playback-time modulation capability are enough to give control like gross-beat does.
I am afraid none of them might solve my need.
So my questions are:
Which app (from these, or others) can be used as live time-stretcher as AUv3?
Which one is better, Looperator or Effectrix, to achieve that? (I guess, via DAW automation)
- I like Looperator cause is quick and easy; but has some turn-offs (only allows 16 steps; steps aren't variable in length; doesn't support triplets).
Effectrix looks more static (per-effect settings, rather than per-each-step like Looperator), although might be better more powerful and more automatable for time-modulation than Looperator?

If there's no solution, how can one recreate Gross-beat time-envelope, manually? (in Drambo, I suppose)
What's your experience on the topic, did you ever solved this big dilemma? 🙃

Also, what's the actual terminology for what GrossBeat's time envelope does:
Time-stretching? Pitch-shifting? Time-morphing? Time-warping? 🤷
Would already help with google-searches...
Maybe have a look at Bleass Slow Machine:
