I recently unearthed an old track, stemmed it out in Koala, messed with it a bit and I came up with this,

Nice! Quite a contrast with the soft music and the very intense video. I watched fullscreen on my computer but I had to look away and when doing so, it kept playing before my eyes for a few nano seconds, very powerful indeed.😳😃

Love the music, the sparcity, the CR78-ish percussion, but, and I speak as a fan, as you know, I just can’t watch this video. I’ve never had issues with photosensitive epilepsy, but there is something about the flickering in this one that means I literally can’t watch it, it makes me feel weird. Soz!

When you write “stemmed it out in Koala” did you just load large audio segments or chop it up to play new sequences?
I mostly loaded large audio segments and put various effects on them. The vocals are chopped up a bit.

I came back for this track.
The thing I really love about this track is the textures you have going on. There’s such an atmosphere when I listen, in a similar way that Witchy Woman by the Eagles builds a vibe in the first few seconds of the song. Obviously very different material but similar in creating very definite mood right off the bat.
And the slightly off kilter rhythm, sparse vocals…it’s really cool
It also makes me think of Pantha du Prince for some reason, who I really admire.
