Jungle Nocturne

An ambient jungle soundscape. Five 32 bar patterns of King of Digital and Mitosynth that overlap to make up the background for a 3 minute nocturne. I used FugueMachine, Piano Motifs, and the MIDI editor for everything except the violins. Some Mixkit jungle sounds interspersed with Pure Piano, and a few guitar and bass sections. A few heavily processed violin layers from ThumbJam. A few vocal samples from Blocs Wave included for atmosphere. Created in Cubasis 3 and mixed down with MagicDeathEye.

Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrated it. I’m still stuffed!

  • I like the vibe, Selectah. I sometimes day dream of sampling your stuff.

Please do! I would consider it a high compliment. PaulXStretch might produce some “interesting” results. I just made it available for download.

  • Cool! Tho I still don’t see a way to DL it, but I also haven’t DL anything from SC before. No worries though, cause I have already ripped something from you in the past via other means 😬, (no screen recording involved). But first, I need to finish something I ripped from LL. Again, I should have asked him first, but I’m confined he’d be Ok with it.

I basically don’t ask since I don’t finish things. I can’t stand the pressure, even tho nobody was expecting anything to begin with 😂

Just click on the (…) icon. From there you can save it anywhere you like. I’m sure most everybody on ABF has AudioShare, so that’s a good place to work from. I’m pretty sure Mike aka @LinearLineman is happy to share. We’re both pretty laidback about these things. Don’t be shy about posting. We’re all friends here. Go for it.

  • If you wrote all of the instruments and sounds involved on a piece of paper before listening you’d swear it wouldn’t make any sense but you always make it work 👍 Especially liked the vocals.

It doesn’t make any sense, but that’s what I like about this iPad stuff. Thanks, bro.

  • That was a musical adventure with an ending that came too soon and too abruptly. That kind of exploration needs more. I need more. I wanna keep exploring that intriguing, evolving and surprising musical landscape.
