It is a very simple piece with an even simpler chord progression: a small chamber strings ensemble, piano, music box, Chinese bowl and an expressive string-ish patch all made in Obsidian, and two SynthMaster presets for a pad and the bass.
I found a pair of wired AirPods so I could use the akai mini to play it.
Beautiful composition. I will be getting NS2 this weekend. I hope I can create something as nice as this.
I couldn’t find any other sequencer that was better for my needs. Just the tempo and signature tracks make it stand out. And obsidian is a great synth.
NS2 is a work of pure design by a perfectionist. I wish it had produced the ROI needed to get the proposed feature adds.
There are a few apps in this category of lost potential for the user but abandoned enterprise for the developer.
Still… for a sequencing DAW it’s great and with audio recording AUv3’s you can still compete. Neon Audio, koala or drambo added fill those feature gaps for audio.
It’s good to see you showcase NS2 to keep the dream alive.
