MIDI Map Ableton Link Offset in AUM
Is this possible? I'd like to MIDI map the Ableton Link Offset (unit = ms) to a knob (let's say I have my Launch Control XL connected) such it goes from some range A to B. I find myself playing around with this setting and coming up with beautiful sequences that don't begin at a "defined 1 or first beat"
Any help is appreciated.

Pretty sure it’s not an option. The transport / clock controls in AUM are the only area that seems to have limitations as far as what you can assign for external controls…as far as I know? I could be wrong though.
Unless there’s a workaround where you can ‘trick’ it into sort of doing a ‘faux offset’ by messing with the clock of something else that is connected with ableton link? But it Seems like I’m grasping at straws with that one heh heh, I do not think I have the means to actually try it out, and I imagine that would be a very spotty solution
I like where your head is at, though… if it’s not something that can already be done, maybe they’ll add it sometime if we ask loud enough
