  • Nice and relaxing - gorgeous sounds. I haven't grabbed any Naada stuff yet but maybe next Black Friday

  • Very beautiful track.

  • Thanks @AlterEgo_UK and @jo92346 , I’ll happily take relaxing and beautiful 👌
Good luck for Saturday Colin 👍
I’m looking forward to listening to your new work Joseph, hopefully in the next few days 😊

  • Sweet. Have you tried either of the NAADA veenas yet? They are both very nice. Takes a little practice to figure out a playing style that sounds good with them, but once you get it they sound excellent.

  • Great composition and cool title. I read that when I was about 10 and it scared the hell out of me.

  • Wow this is beautiful. Great job Tony, love it!

That Harmonium patch is one of my favorite DS instruments.

  • Cheers @Wrlds2ndBstGeoshredr , @Paulieworld and @HotStrange .
I have the Veenas (sounds like a medical complaint) but haven’t done a track with them yet. I think @McD has beat me to it 😊
I read a lot of Wyndhams books when I was young as well Paul, definitely scary. Think my favourite was the Chrysalids which is more or less the X Men writing decades earlier.
DS does have some great instruments Hot.

  • Very good!

The Veenas also has an “ensemble” knob… maybe more Naada apps have that. SWAM sees ensembles as an opportunity to sell yet another app. Naada sells at a more typical IOS price point per instrument. Getting it on sale was a real deal and I think it’s still on sale until 12/5 or so.

Wow, didn’t even notice that knob. Must sound pretty wild on a veena. I found it useful on the pan pipes patch a while back.

One advantage of Naada over swam is that most of the instruments are at least duophonic in Naada. Swam only gives you monophony.

The Naada Strings have some great qualities. I configured 4 GeoShred instances loaded with Bass, Cello, Viola and Violin.
Then I fed each a unique part:

    1. Bass first
    2. add cello
    3. add viola
    4. add violin

Then turn on “Ensemble” knob (they all respond together to CC 26 for this control)
Then turn on Pizzicato for each instance in turn (I did it manually but they respond to CC 28 and 30).

NOTE: I did this on an iPad M1 so older iPads may not support all four instances… AUM fought me on loading that 4th instance.
I started killing off FX apps and it loaded for this demo.
