“Handmade”
Handmade in AUM with a GeoShred “Naada Saraswati Veena” Preset.
Backing MIDI patterns from 2 Riffler Flow instances. This all started because @GeoTony used a Roli Noise Drum “Tabla Kit” and I had to play with it… but I dropped down to the “Taikos Drum Kit” and was off practicing GeoShred Naada’s presets.

This is not doing good job of keeping me from buying the Naada pack McD 😂 sounds great though! You’re really putting the new Riffler to work huh?
Yes. Riffler Flow has some clever controls and several at once is cohesive but complex.
Agreed! I’ve been having a blast with it so far. Pairs very well with the Lumbeat drummers.
I think the next step for me, since Riffler Flow maxes out at 8 bars, is to build a cluster of loops in LK or Atom2 to be able to organize larger “songs”.
So essentially export the midi into LK? That’s not a bad idea. I don’t have Atom but do have LK and Helium. Might give that a shot as well.
Please let me know on your progress. I wonder if Jonathan would consider upping the limit or better yet support a song or arrangement scheme.
I think he views this as a guitar tool to design and learn riffs so he may not care about using it so long form music making.
That could be true but surely he’s seen how the majority of us on iOS are using. Maybe not though.
That would be a great feature to have especially for sequencing external synths. Would be cool of the generated drums could also send midi out and be routed to a separate drum AUV3.
As @gavinski noted the drums are just slightly more complicated that a metronome and intended to be an aide for practicing the riff.
That naada saraswati veena preset sounds great. Nicely played on Geoshred. A very exotic and mysterious piece. 👍
Oh yeah I’m aware, I actually mentioned that in the other thread about Flow. I’m just offering it as a feature I’d love to see (but don’t really expect).
Put this in the folder when you get a moment. I'm hearing a lot of things that I think would sound good with it.
I've been dabbling in Riffler Flow for a few days. Almost have enough for a song. Hope to post something this weekend. It will have a Klingon theme.
Good job. Have a soothing weekend.
Welcome fellow traveller from the planet Naada 👽
Nice work @McD , the Roli Drum stuff is excellent (imho) such a shame it’s being left to rot 🤨
Are you using Riffler Flow to play the Roli Drums?
Does Riffler Flow have the ‘Endless Mode’ facility that Riffler has? That would get round the 8 bar limit
Thanks. I hope your finding some grace in music.
I recall you made the case for going app in. I’m glad I did.
It still pays didvidends and you keep showing me hidden riches.
Yes. I point Flow at it and adjusted settings until I heard 4 sounds since there are only 4 pads.
NOTE: Drum Computer is in there too.
I can’t find it if it does.
The cat’s thyroid RX seems to be bringing him back to us.
That sitar really sounds very good.
It really does… GeoShred has added 2 really good modeling libraries of instruments: SWAM and Naada at reasonable prices. And GeoShred can either play them fretless, fretted or in keyboard styles which support slide/glide or note transitions on pitch but with a hint of bending to sound more human.
Love that veena. The other patch—the rudra veena—sounds best at the very bottom of its range. Fun for playing James Bond-style guitar runs way down low.
I’ll check that out. I love the range of most GeoShred instruments. The SWAM GeoTenor for example can sound like a baritone, tenor, alto or soprano depending on where you decide to poke the notes. It has up/down octave controls. Usually SWAM limits their products to the exact range of the horn to sell 4 different instances.
