An atom adrift in vastness
The Naada Dizi (Swell preset) from the GeoShred Naada Collection III played with GeoShred through Attack Softener and a couple of TB Reverbs.
Two instances of SnakeBud are playing an additional set of Dizis (not swell !)
The backing is Decent Sampler RJS Guitar and BeatHawk Fretless Vibrato played by Piano Motifs.
The title is another line from The day of the Triffids by John Wyndham.

Sorry… I just got around to checking this one out Tony. It’s really nice. I need to give that Naada Dizi Swell a closer look.
Missed this, too. Excellent stuff.
This is simply beautiful.
Many thanks @McD from rescuing this from the land fill site of zero comment creations and putting in the musical recycling bin 🚮
Thanks @LinearLineman and @jo92346 for the listens and comments, I have to admit to being pleased with this one 😊
Lovely bass tones, beautiful piece. The word would be ‘contemplative.’
Also: great choice of source material for the title. Before Ballard, Wyndham had a fine touch for a peculiarly British apocalypse.
Thanks @Svetlovska , yes JW wrote a very British sort of science fiction, lots of stiff upper lip etc.
I really should put more work into getting the technique of putting a dimo on my dizi correctly. This is the kind of composition that makes me want to work on things myself.
It really would suit a documentary about an atom alone in the vastness of space. Really evocative of that loneliness and vastness.
Had to Google dimo… I’ve learned something 😊 and would be interested in hearing the results of your work @michael_m .
Thanks very much for the listen and comment.
