Comments
I can never get the comments to load so that they’re completely visible on YouTube Shorts. They’re cut off to the side on either portrait or landscape format on iPad 9th Gen. i can type a comment but i can’t submit it because the button is cut off!
First run-through demo

Thanks! Been anxiously awaiting this one for iOS. It’s great!
Finally 🙌🏻 I’ve been wanting this one to come to iOS since they starting porting them. It’s not as in depth as an app like Speakers or Lines but what it does do it does very well. Great app for us drone heads.
Good demo of Motor when it came out on desktop:
Very weird, have never had that problem. Tried using the YT app, making sure it's the latest version?
Ah, good point…no, I’ve only been accessing it via Safari. I’ll try that. Cheers.
Even weirder, within the YouTube app, i press the comments icon and the ‘comments area’ slides into view but it’s just a black box, it doesn’t display any comments. Still, no problem - interesting example of Things Motor in use, thanks @Gavinski.
Have you tried logging out of your YouTube account and logging back in? Might be a long shot, but sometimes it’s worth trying.
I've not had this particular issue on Youtube but Ad Blocker & anti cookie type plugins / addons have prevented pages to load correctly. If you use anything like that it might be worth temporarily disabling to test.
I’m still processing “courting birds drunk on fermented cherries”.
I mean it’s nowhere near cherry season
So can anyone tell me what I’m missing here?
I followed Hainbachs set up in this YouTube short to mix the signals with Multibus instance, but I’m not getting the same results.
In his video he has the AUM channel strip with the multibus effect all the way down, and its mixing the signals… when i do that i only get the original signal… unless i crank up the slider on both channels… maybe im missing a step?
My fail 🤣:

Shot from his video..

@reasOne I think yours is setup post-fader, while his is pre-fader. Does that help?
Yup i think that is it! I’ll test it when it get back into the studio. Thanks man!
Easy to work in aum.
Cant get it work in Drambo.
No multibus fx or post fader fx?
It works perfectly in Drambo too, host the plug-in on track two and feed the side-chain to it from track one...
Will check again.
Couldnt turn down volume of track 1 and still hear through ch 2 fx.
Will test the same project vs aum as it still sounded ok/ a blend of tracks.
You don't have to pipe the side-chain audio from track 1's main output, you can pipe it from any track or module above the track where Motors is hosted.
Drambo routing is always left to right and top to bottom.
@sigma79 In your video, the Motor instances are ‚post-fader‘, while in the screenshot from Hainbachs video, they are ‚pre-fader‘.
Tap and hold a motor instance and in the appearing AUM pop-up choose ‚pre-fader‘ , do this for both instances and it should behave like in the Hainbach video.
Cheers.
Dosent seem like a normal sidechain ( unless some sidechain is applied at a point in the rate knob )
If not then cant see why you couldnt just buss send channels to the fx.
Instead I put 2 serial mixers on a seperate channel and before the fx app.
The mixers go to the fx, 2 inputs .
Then just add any amount of tracks to either mixer.
You lose send effects per track though.
Cheers Ki.
Motors just uses two input signals, the manual is worth a read to get a grip on how the two channels interact.
