Change is good
Thanks to some sound reasoning from @HotStrange, I revoked my ban on subscription apps and bought Jam Cam.
I’m glad I did.
This is the first thing I made with it. No manual reading.
Those clanky sounds are coming from the formidable Relic Waves.

That's really cool, you're a master of using air in your music, something I lack but I want to because it really makes a difference.
Cool you went for JamCam, it has some real depth and you can build some really cool and quite unique filters with it. Takes some time to build up an arsenal though and that's why I recommend to "steal" from the templates, to start with. I have never used the midi option to control the filters, gotta try that soon.
This is amazing!
Totally agree. The airy vibes of this track are masterful.
Excellent! Sorry to make you spend money but I did it to myself also if that helps 😆
I haven’t made anything with it outside of a video one of our cats set behind some ambient drones lol but I’m looking forward to diving in more. Really a surprising app, I dunno why we don’t see it used or mentioned more here. Maybe it’s the sub/expensive one time fee that pushes folks away. I think it’s worth it though.
Relic Waves is certainly a deep well of inspiration.
Good evaluation. It is good spacing.
One thing I heard somewhere, awhile back (maybe in a music doc, or some Music Making video or artist interview) that I always try to keep in mind is, “the space between the notes, is, as important as the notes themselves.” I sometimes forget myself, but its a great tip. Something I always pick up on in the music I listen too.
CamJam looks cool. I never tried it. Is there some functionality without subscription? if it’s breaking down “no subscription” walls it must be cool, lol. Relic Waves is definitely awesome. Grabbed that almost immediately.
