Parents made me give up trumpet at age 11 because it was thought that it was contributing to frequent ear infections. Multiple decades later I think I’ve found a satisfying alternative

Sounds way better than me playing trumpet. My trumpet playing is basic to say the least.

Definitely has the vibe that you can only get from someone who understands how to play the instrument.

Thanks and yes indeed all Logic sounds! My fav is the EP which used to be called “EVP88” which I couldn’t use at all when it mattered because I was a devoted Cakewalk Sonar/Windows user for too long and we were at war with Mac.

Thanks though I would think a real trumpet would still sound better. It could be the Blackhole reverb that’s making this sound the way that it does…it’s a clutch plugin

Blackhole is indeed clutch. What are your favorite presets?

Hard to go wrong with Default…. then just adjusting mix and gravity to taste

I mean I don’t have the ability to play that well. Probably sounds better in the range I can play in, but I wouldn’t be able to play the part you played.

As an aside I’ve never seen YouTube Music before, confused the hell out me but I’ll have to investigate further !

Thanks for this! I wanted to try that kick bass thing the cool kids use. Hopefully I can do more music as I wind down the tech career 😔

YouTube music I’m still studying it as I’m more an Apple Music subscriber but it does seem more shareable
