I did the most recent update to Hammerhead this afternoon. When I opened my Cubasis project, Hammerhead was crashed and would not reload. Lost all my beats .

@brambos, I am afraid of opening other projects.

    @brambos , have you changed the AUv3 AudioComponentDescription for Hammerhead? If so, you may need to use a trick like in KQ Dixie, keeping both the old and new identifiers.

    That’s strange. No I didn’t change the ACD.

    Could you please try a restart of the device and try Cubasis again? I can open projects without any issues.

    Update: I see an issue with one older project - but it is also problematic with the pre-update version of HH. I'm looking into it, but it may be that it's a rather exotic bug which was already there for months.

    I'm on it!

    @brambos there’s also an issue with HH crashing in Logic if I duplicate the track. I thought it was only happening to tracks made before the update, but I was able to replicate with the new version. It takes a few reloads (3-9 times for me) but eventually works fine.

    Other than that I love the preset browser update. Huge QoL improvement, thank you!

    I have prepared an update with a fix, which I expect will solve all these issues.

    I’m honestly surprised nobody has reported this problem before because the bug has been there for a few months :#

    I use Hammerhead exclusively as my drum Auv3. I never had any problems until yesterday. 🤷🏻

    Yeah, it was one of those sneaky bugs that only kicks in under very specific circumstances.

    I hope the upcoming fix solves it.
