Effective Immediately! (DnB with Dancing video)

Another DnB tune, hmm, not sure what's going on here 😂
Made in NanoStudio with the new Mariana synth for the bass tracks, and, . Also used Nambu, BeatHawk, DrumComputer and King of Digital. This was a heavy project so I had to export the stems and add effects in AUM as the CPU in NS went hot. There MoogerFoogers, Combustion and Voltour were used. Also a bunch from DDMF. I should have mastered in Logic but forgot because I'm old and stupid 😔 😳

I downloaded a bunch of video clips from the web where I found this lady dancing with fans, there was about ten shorts so I put them together in After Effects with a blend between them and an added colour effect. Then JamCam for the final touch
@HotStrange @rottencat I tag you guys because maybe you wanna see some JamCam result(?) It's been a while but, this was fun to make.

After our discussion the other day I broke down and subscribed to Jam Cam. I posted my first attempt at using it and the post sank like the proverbial stone.

Thanks for the Tag! This is excellent (the video and the song). Did you use after effects on iOS too?

Makes me wonder why JamCam isn’t more popular?? It seems great so far.

No, it doesn't exist for iOS, I have a Mini M1 which actually handles a beast like After Effects quite okay. You can't do mega projects but I have no intention to so that's fine. 😁

I agree, he needs help marketing it, for sure. He's first app isn't bad either, pretty much the same but a lot less.

Sometimes apps randomly get a jump in popularity on the forum and it seems to be happening now with JamCam. Hope that will help the dev through word of mouth. It’s surprisingly easy to use as well I would say.

I’d love to see after effects come to iOS. Can any of the Adobe apps we do have come close?

We had a lot of contact when Jam was new but I think it's more of a hobby, or self test for him. We'll see if he comes with something new or update for Jam.

No!
After Effects is almost as good with video as Photoshop is with image/photos. The photoshop port to iOS is a huge disappointment and that is a big tell on how far AE is from iOS. DaVinci Resolve is a competitor in the biz and they are on iOS but I'm a hardcore AE man (even if I'm far from fluent in it) so I haven't bothered to try it. Also, Final Cut Pro is supposedly in the vicinity of competing with AE and that iOS port is also nothing compared to the desktop version, if the critiques are correct. So, conclusion would be that it's a tough app form to recreate on iOS. Why is hard to understand, I certainly don't 🤷🙂

Thanks I don’t think I’m doing anything with my videos that wouldn’t be possible with what we have an iOS….for now. But I do hope something on par with AE comes eventually. FCP looks great but I’m not thrilled about adding yet another subscription. Resolve, LumaFusion, and JamCam should be fine for me right now.
