  • This wonderful piece of music made the high super mellow and nice. I love your music mate, and I'm super ecstatic that you're back at it. :) Cheers.

  • Triple the pianos! Sound great friend :)

  • Are all 3 pianos layered together? Interesting sound :)

Nice piece, the music just flows out of you.

  • @jwmmakerofmusic thx, Jim, for your continued support. I’m enjoying the Kawai Novus a lot and, as you know, new gear always helps!

@HotStrange @richardyot, yes, combining pianos or pianos plus EP can yield good results. I recorded each on a separate track and mixed them in and out. The Pianoteq is an octave lower as well. Thx for listening!

You don't use a keyboard ? I am surprised (I know the iPad can do it on screen but you have such expensive taste in software so I thought you might use a piano) , also with your skill I can't believe you don't want one even though you can do it on the iPad.

It sounds great. I actually enjoyed the final chord progression at the end most of all..! I for some reason love your resolutions...you know how to grab someones attention before you close a piece

(ps btw I did a remaster so if you get a chance to lmk what you think as I'm taking a pause on creations [and reviews], but I still want to listen to the music you guys make, but that'll be my last one for little while)

PS I love retro piano....thats vinyl sound is great

  • Lately all I listen to here makes me feel younger. This piece is no exception. Old west meets jazz.

  • lol, @dreamcartel i do, indeed, use a keyboard. I
was able to upgrade from a Kawai ES8 to a Kawai Novus10s. A digital interfaced instrument with a real acoustic grand action. Cost a pretty penny and was out of my range till I came into some money some months back.
I also got a Seaboard Rise 2 but am not able to adjust to it. Looking to sell it to a forum member but no takers so far.

Hope you’ll post again soon. I did listen but only on my iPad speakers. Will listen with phones later and comment.

Thx @jo92346 i was looking for a genre and settled on spiritual but your description is more accurate.
Keep growing younger, but not like Benjamin Button!

  • Nice to hear a different approach to harmony in this. For most of it I didn’t really notice any extended chords, and I think it’s mostly built around triads?

  • edited December 2023

@michael_m yeah, triads mostly, often with sus2 or 6ths. Thx for listening, bro.
Btw, anyone know who the photo portrays?

  • Really nice.
    I enjoyed this.

  • Thanks @Gravitas. I’ll get the project to you today, I hope.

  • Time and again I‘m impressed by your musical expression... B)

  • Righteous key change at 2:33 yikes

  • Thanks very much @Telefunky.I appreciate those words.
lol, @realdawei, it took a while getting there but I think I wound up in the same place!
