The Behringer is sequencing dRambo.
dRambo is doing synthesis and Mastering.

  • Nice work as usual. I don't know what is different with your workflow or device/hardware use but it is cool. is this a reverse process or does drambo usually sequence? It sounds great whatever it is.

  • I like that I can switch between dRambo and Behringer for sequencing on the fly
because there are specific sequences on the Behringer that I’ve written and
on another note I can now morph between the physical and the virtual synths with ease.

    Thanks.

  • Sounds great!

Curious how your mastering chain looks like.
Do you sometimes use auv3’s in Drambo?
I try to do it all more and more with Drambo modules but for some stuff like a limiter or special reverbs i reach for auv3’s.

  • @Nathi94
    Thank you.

I do use third party auv3's in dRambo however for this piece I used only dRambo modules
except for the opto compressor on the Master Bus to prevent the signal from clipping
but as the volume in this piece is quite low the opto compressor isn't really doing anything.
For the most part I start off using third party auv3's then when I run out of cpu
I start making my own versions in dRambo so that I can get the maximum cpu performance.

  • I see so more to keep the volume in control.
I have a similar workflow, but if I can’t get in the same ballpark with the modules or cpu goes to high I use flexi sampler as my bounce into place and sometimes with that the sound takes another direction.
    Thanks for your insight :)

In regards to the opto compressor on the Master bus, yes.

I rarely sample the sounds I create as I like them in real time.

    Thanks for your insight :)

    No worries.
