The Collaborative Approach
Last week, I posted a track here: https://forum.audiob.us/discussion/58557/relic-waves#latest
@Paulieworld heard this and asked if he could “have his way” with it.
Of course I said yes.
He then posted his reworking along with a brief but compelling story. It’s here: https://forum.audiob.us/discussion/58692/remnants-a-collaboration-rottencat-and-paulieworld#latest
Inspired by his track and by the story, I made a new video.
Comments
I listened to the collab earlier today, real nice I thought. This video is very original, I felt I wanted to jump in and help them (the people) come through somehow 😂 Truly artistic.
Great collaboration! Sounds ephemeral and haunting at the same time. The textures of the drums and percussion sound great. The effects on percussion and drums sound great too. And how the other instruments like the guitar just magically blend in.
Great job!
Very creative track and compelling video. Well, it compelled me to check out the original track!
Well done both!
That’s really cool, the whole thing. Collaboration is a lot of fun when it works out.
Would it be helpful if there was a master list for collaborations? Every user who wants to participate posts only once: some examples of your work, what instruments or sounds you can provide, genres or similar artists you are open to doing, a way to contact you, and your time zone.
Plus any other relevant information. As long as it didn’t become an area for discussion, it would be pretty useful, I think. Concise, informative, helpful.
I’m way behind on checking Creations, so missed @Paulieworld ’s post of this. I like both the track and the video very much, great collaboration!
Just catching up, already commented on the original and the audio collaboration, this just enhances the whole thing again 🙏
