Pianoteq and Pipa. As I use Pianoteq more the more I see it as a superior app to Ravenscroft.

Wow… it sounds like your chops are coming back.
Is the major benefit of PianoTeq 8 the reduced latency and additional response to velocity that comes with a modeled instrument?
What I needed right now.
That's a great one @LinearLineman!
I've enjoyed it a lot.
Thx @McD, Pianoteq sounds like a more complex sound to me than Ravenscroft. Perhaps harder to distinguish from a real acoustic.
Thanks @jo92346 that makes me feel good.
Nice to hear from you @rs2000 Happy Holidays to you both. Peace and love.
Great improv! I especially liked that wild flurry near the end.
Great! Bill Evans with a touch of @LinearLineman - I agree with @McD, you're playing better than ever. Sounds like a real piano through my speakers.
Thx @Paulieworld i’m working on my flurries!
Thanks for the praise @pbelgium the Pianoteq sounds are very good, indeed.
Nice finger work there, and quite the gamut of influences all rolled into one piece.
I know it sounds weird, but it reminds me the Soviet anthem... in free jazz style Check it on youtube!
Please don't misunderstand me, it's not criticism. Simply this was my first thought when I started listening it. Nontheless it's a nice piece!
Thanks for commenting @michael_m. Appreciated!
lol, @GLacey i thought so, too. Actually I had Brecht’s The Ship the Black Freighter in mind at the time.
Great stuff, amazing playing. You’re a seriously good player, there’s tons of technique there. I envy you.
BTW I can’t hear Pipa. What is it doing?
That is a really authentic piano sound for sure. Great improv. Those flurries are very impressive! Would love to see them laid out on sheet music or as midi on a piano roll! Crazy fast! 👍
@tahiche Pipa comes in at 1;23. A female voice. Very sparing through till the end. You and @Spidericemidas shouldn’t be overly impressed. I bumped the bpm “a bit”. It was my intention to do so. In my defense I didn’t edit a note. Improvising at such high speed with accurate note hitting and note choices might have been possible in my prime but Now I need a techno walking stick to stay upright.
@Spidericemidas here is the midi track you requested. Lots of notes! (Note the Xmas tree and the comb in the final section😎).
Your two minute encore was several minutes too short 🙏
