multiple inputs 3.5mm audio interface ?

is there such a thing as an interface which sports multiple 3.5mm inputs ? (more than two)

i have a lot of “toy” synths lying around and would love to connect them all to my ipad to effect them, ideally something that can be usb powered, doesn’t need preamps -> line inputs are fine.

i own a 1010music bluebox but it can only send a mix out through usb.

otherwise can you connect two interfaces at the same time with usb ? something like the rode ai micro interface.

of course i could use a larger more “legit” interface, but i’m just testing the waters for something for those spontaneous moments in the kitchen with friends see what i mean ?

  • Hi, search this forum for the TC Helicon Blender - it’s great for getting all those boxes connected - battery or psu power though.

No. (Except maybe with Logic Pro. Apple seem to have leveraged a proprietary API they haven't graced other developers with on that one.)

Also - 3.5mm to 6.35mm adapters are cheap.

  • You’re probably better off getting some adapters. They also make 1/8-1/4 cables with one size on each end.

I use a Behringer usb mixer with all my small “toy” synths. The Bastl Dude is another option as well if you want a smaller one.

    ^^^ this.

There are multiple more important factors to choosing an interface than the connector, and suitable cables can be sourced or built.

Unfortunately out of stock or even not in production anymore ☹️

Would be also my first recommendation…

That's sad - it's so tiny and so useful and was so reasonably priced - mmmmmm if I was in the market for something now I'd lust after a TX-6 but wouldn't buy one - I might try a Behringer Flow 8 and some 3.5mm adapters or perhaps a Roland GO mixer? :#
