Very nice JG!
Anyone else having trouble with the recordings, both in the internal recorder, and via audiobus into audioshare (or whatever), not matching the sound nor the output meter readings in apeFilter? The recorded sound is just a distorted mess If you get a bit aggressive in apeFilter, turning down the output gain way back helps somewhat. But it's still ass backwards not giving you a recording that's matching both what you hear and what you see on apeFilters level meters ? What am I missing ?
Edit: It's like it's somehow bypassing the audiobus output pipe, removing the limiter (or whatever is going on on the pre-output in apeFilter), then the result is being recorded back in the audiobus output slot (even tho you can't actually hear the result until after it's been recorded in the receiving output slot app). Blah hope that makes sense:)
Another weird behavior/bug is having a simple low pass filter all the way to the right (completely open) and the audio bugs out. Set the wet slider to 100% so no dry signal comes through, and choose the low pass filter, works great until it's all the to the right, then the audio just kinda fades away,
Edit: Same issue with the peak filter.
@Sinapsya TECH SUPPORT: What am doing wrong getting all these issues? You beta this one right?
Feature request: Stereo playback ability for the internal player. Wanna process my files with always resorting to AB or IAA. Why only mono? (Just trying to understand the reasoning here:)
Yes, I had these bugs as well. I hope it'll get fixed soon.
Lovely filter effect....just entranced myself by running random spinphony sequences through it.
Anyone know if there is any way of switching through the presets in apefilter without the setting defaulting back to sample mode each time & cutting out the audio feed through AB until you manually switch back to AB/Mic/IAA ? Some sort of automation on the lower panel to enable dialling in moving filters would be ace.
A plugin way ahead of its time. Must have been a big inspiration for other apps design wise. Found it because I was looking for alternatives for Abletons Corpus, so physical modeling stuff, comb filters, ring mods etc.
It’s fantastic, but use a limiter - it can go bananas very easily!
Thanks. I always use one on the master – is this enough or would you use one on the track itself? I use Inears so it could be potentially double painful..
Silly question but the presets from the standalone don’t show up my auv3 version, do i need to import them from somewhere?
The master bus one is probably OK, but I’d be tempted to use on on the track itself to be doubly safe.
You have to export from the standalone and import into the AUv3.
Manual explains the procedure:

Thank you - been wondering about this for a while too.
thanks @bygjohn !
who would have thought the manual would explain it silly me
