Moog's 478-key (unfinished) microtonal keyboard
Hi, everyone. If you're interested in Bob Moog's instruments, here's an article you may enjoy.
In 1968, the mathematician David Rothenberg collaborated with Bob to build a 478-key, 31-TET keyboard. Unfortunately, it was never finished. Fast forward to last year...Travis Johns at Cornell built it from scratch using Moog/Rothenberg's plans.
We're fortunate to have so many great MPE keyboards and access to unlimited microtonal tunings using our iPads.
