automatically clip length

The first clip is my drum track and the length is, for example, two bars. The second clip has a free length and is, for example, 16 bars. Now I want my third clip to automatically adjust to the length of clip two, so it will automatically stop when it reaches 16 bars, but it will start recording immediately, so I don't wait to record until it gets to bar 1, and it will be a is a separate track. How do I get that set? Thanks for the solution.

How are you going to initiate recording of clip 3? Will clip two have started playing back?

  • clip 2 plays well, and so do 3, 4 and 5, but for example if I play clip 5 longer than clip 3, this clip also becomes longer. I haven't yet found a way to limit the length of a clip to the length that clip 3 has.

What do you mean by “ if I play clip 5 longer than clip 3, this clip also becomes longer”?

This post is also on the Facebook group https://www.facebook.com/groups/loopypro/permalink/669057298743389/?mibextid=W9rl1R – here’s my reply to that:

You could use a follow action on finish recording for that second loop, which will set the master length to the length of that loop.

To begin recording immediately, and then record for that length, set your count in to none, and your count out to master, and make sure auto count out is on.

I also attached a video to that post
