After a couple of recent vaguely upbeat tracks this is more downbeat, a sort of ambient jazz?
Also a lament for Homo sapiens ongoing inability to live in peace, especially at this time of year 😔

I can definitely hear this as a sound track for a nature documentary. I get visuals of migrating wild herds roaming the plains.

I almost skipped because of the name, I’m glad I didn’t. I love the instrument, and I love the theme. Nothing close to sorrow, though. It was inspiring and relaxing for me. Bravo! 🤩

I’m not really into slotting stuff into genres @dreamcartel but it seems to help some people so that’s fair enough. The percussion is DS Frame Drum being played by SnakeBud which is itself being randomised so I guess the end result is fairly random but it sort of works.

Massive fan of that Frame Drum set. I’ve used it random;y too, and it definitely seems to work well that way. Did you buy the full pack? The piece is superb, soulful. I can definitely hear it over footage of sunrise in some remote corner of the Earth, slow tracking shots of herds of animals making their way across a vast plain. Then the camera pans up, and we see, motionless, hanging in space precisely the way bricks don’t, a football field sized, enigmatic machine. A glow begins to emit from its underside…
