List of iOS apps that will run on M2?
Just want to ask if anyone knows of a comprehensive list of apps that are guaranteed to run on M2 hardware (viz mac mini M2)
Thinking of swapping over from PC to Mac Mini and then (using a touch screen monitor) using that instead of the iPad for live work. It can also double as the desktop PC/DAW. Well, at least, that's the plan

I don't think such a list can be reliably made unless all configurations, all DAWs and all plugins are made to guarantee compatibility. Quite a few existing iPadOS plugins which are listed as being compatible with M1 computers on the desktop App Store don't actually work as AU plugins. I continue to test and whittle down those apps which work, but compatibility may also break when there are updates to both mobile and desktop platforms.
In other words, it's a real mess and you'll have to do your own testing to find this out. The only reliable list will be the one you make for yourself.
Yeah, fair!
I'm curious. Do you have a particular touch screen monitor in mind?
Pretty sure any touch screen with USB-C (or thunderbolt if you will) will work, from what I have read. I have a touchscreen I am using at the moment with Windows 11 on the Intel NUC 11and it works fine. A single USB C and it all just runs nicely. But I ahve since upgraded that to a 16" model, but have not used it yet.
There are some issues with apps (iOS) and touch functions, but there are some workarounds I have been reading about.
TBH, I'd keep the NUC for the live work but,it's size AND the size of the power adapter which is huge and a brick, makes it awkward and means I really need a rack to keep it all tidy. Hence the looking at a Mac Mini.
