My last little album of this year, From Heaven to Hell

My last little album of this year, From Heaven to Hell. Not really a Christmas idea but it turned out that way. The idea behind this album arose from the observation that many things start beautifully but end in a heavy minor key. This applies to many things in life such as stimulants, personal encounters and daily experiences. Despite this somewhat dark message, best wishes to everyone. Wishing you a musical 2024. Tell me what you think about it, frenq

Beautiful. You are really encouraged to be introduced into the higher knowledge. All your recent works speak this language. This is not an embarrassment. It is - how to put it - the right way.

It is not me who is the teacher, as I’m only a student. I learn a lot from your musical output.

We don’t need teachers anymore. The times have changed. We can learn through books. We can learn through understanding, through our mind. This is new. This wasn’t possible few centuries ago.

  • and by the way, heaven and hell is only a concept that was constructed for political purposes. It has no meaning in reality.

  • I really like this! Great composition and a great message. Many will disagree with me about Heaven. I believe it’s real. I have good reason to believe. Long story.

I wish you would just set up a SoundCloud account. They keep asking me to accept their cookies. I don’t want no cookies. Maybe if they offered me a Martini. SoundCloud is free. Think about it. I would click on that.

  • @Phil999 thanks for listening and commenting. Keep learning and use the way that suits you best, frenq

  • @Paulieworld thanks for your comments and listening. If there is a hell, there must be a heaven and vice versa. They exist as if only in our heads or else certainly in our world, frenq

  • Dear @Paulieworld the limit of free Soundcloud is very small, that of Heartis.at is 100 albums. If you go professional, a membership at Souncloud costs at least 3 times more. Hence, greetings frenq

  • Hi Frenq,

The real question is - does God exist? The short answer, to me, is Yes.

SoundCloud is free, but very limited. 3 hours as I recall. I also have a Bandcamp page under the same name. I much prefer the look and feel of Bandcamp. One day, for no apparent reason, the embedded links stopped working and I started using SoundCloud. I like for a listener to be able to click the play button without leaving the page. I find it inconvenient to jump to another tab. I just assumed that others might feel the same way. You could always use SoundCloud to promote your current provider, then just delete older tracks to free up space. It’s a little extra work, but provides another audience on a well known, global platform.

Last weekend I passed 26,000 plays. I never thought that would be possible without some sort of promotion. I don’t ever plan to make a living doing this, but I like having my music heard. I have been a musician all my life. I started on accordion at age 7, and continued on into my fifties. I have played in dozens of bands as a keyboard and bass player. My last band was a tribute group covering Fleetwood Mac and Heart. We did pretty well, especially on the summer festival circuit. We had steady gigs opening for older groups like Cheap Trick, Bad Company, Grand Funk Railroad, Survivor, and many others. It was a good time until my arthritis started. Oh well, I guess that was my 15 minutes of fame. Now I just like writing music from the comfort of my patio. No rehearsals, no band politics, no travel required.

The Audiobus Forum was a great discovery. I have made a lot of new friends from around the globe with similar interests. We will probably never meet in person but I can live with that.

I hope you will consider SoundCloud. It makes things easier for me! I enjoy reading about the back stories and workflows, then I just click Play.

Oh well, I’m starting to ramble. It was a pleasure to meet you. Have a great day!

  • How you so prolific?

  • @jebni just a lot of free time and hard work, simple as that, thanks for listening, frenq

  • Finally caught up and it was worth it… another great little album… have a lovely new year 🙏
