How to load SFZ’s into Zenbeats for IOS

I haven’t had any luck on figuring how to load up SFZ’s in Zenbeats. Zenbeats is suppose to accept SFZ files but there isn’t any video showing how to do it. I’ve tried it myself and only loads up blanks. How do you load them successfully. I was also having trouble adding SFZ’s into AudioLayer.

  • Hoo boy ... that was a long time ago that I tried that. I remember having a tiny bit of success. Ultimately gave up on it perhaps because it could only use one layer and wasn't worth the trouble. I'm pretty sure I posted about it here back then. I'll try to see if I can find anything.

Still looking. But if you're hoping for anywhere near the level of capability of AudioLayer, I can tell you in advance it's nowhere close.

Thanks. I’ll test out that text editing option. It still sounds like it desperately needs an update.

Could have gotten some since that was written. I dunno - haven't tried it. I don't think it's even close to a substitute for AudioLayer. If you're only looking at it because of problems with AudioLayer, you're probably better off digging up one of the threads on the subject. @VirSyn seems to listen to and at least try to address the issues pretty regularly.
