Great video Doug! Was so surprised they gave this away.
I really hope they come back to iOS.
@CapnWillie Yeah, that was nice of them to do, I’m wondering what the price will be after the 4th January.
Their reverbs are also brilliant, the Rev LX24, Rev Plate 140, Rev Intensity, Rev Spring 636, they really are bonkers good, all their effects are brilliant.
Let’s be fair the synths aren’t bad either😂
@HotStrange So do I, their effects are just so good, some of them are really CPU intensive though, especially the reverbs.
My email from Arturia says that after 4 January, "The normal price for Efx REFRACT is $99" (presumably USD).
I grabbed it even though I've barely got my head around their recent Fragments and Motions plugins.
@claudinec That about in line with their other effects then, so definitely worth getting it now👍😊
Very cool, thanks for the tip!👍🏻
Agreed. It’s so ironic you mention their reverbs in particular as I was just recommending them to a friend on Discord. I think Arturia are among the very best creators/curators of sound at the moment blending new inspiring sounds with refined legendary inspiration to give us very complete tools. I also love their controllers. My favs are companies that create hardware/software ecosystems while still working well with others. The three libraries (sounds + fx) I am inspired by:
Roland Cloud (controlled by Verselab, Aerophone, S1)
Arturia Collections (controlled by Minilab 3)
Apple Logic (controlled by all of the above + iPad Pro/iPhone via Logic Remote)
Honorable mention Soundtoys complete bundle and ShaperBox 3 is probably my most used multifx software although I think Refract may make it in here somewhere thanks to your video. 🙏🏽
Regain sure they’d have to days of on the CPU load some how for iOS. Maybe that’s part of what’s stopping them.
Thanks, tbis looks like a pretty wild effect. Cheers, HNYE!
