Undulator is actually is 75% off at only $1.99
MicroPitch is 60% off at $3.99

All on Sale. Disregard apps not discounted in the Pic I checked, they are all on Sale. Cheers!

Thank you. This is a really good sale.

    I can't see Blackhole there.
EDIT: I don't see Blackhole in the "Eventide" category at all now.
    https://appsliced.co/apps/dev/eventide
EDIT2: I sent msg to AppSliced support and Blackhole is back now

Yea I had no idea why, but it wasn’t on the Eventide page on AppSliced originally. It was always there before but wasn’t for some reason. Thanks for handling that, it’s on there now. Cheers.

    Updated picture on Eventide.

I'm looking for a new Reverb even tho i'm very happy using FAC Alteza, and.... i'm always looking for Blackhole in discount and give it a try ..... BUT.

The Spring Reverb is looking at me with that discount and i wanna know the differences. There's an album that i like that i know he uses spring reverb for some instruments and not too much... (Squarepusher - Music Is Rotted One Note) so i'm intrigued about....

There are othere good Spring Reverbs around? Is this a good one? Maybe just buy Blackhole and try some other Spring, maybe free or cheaper?

That’s a tough one. There are a few springs out there, this is probably one of the best ones on iOS. I think the Eventide Reverb Bundle is only $20 or so. Maybe just grab the lot.
maybe someone else can provide you with more insight.

If you have a convolution reverb (maybe impulsation is still on sale for 4 bucks?) you could try these free impulse responses:

    http://www.dubbhism.org/2008/10/free-download-60-classic-and-king-tubby.html?m=1

I like them a lot and the blog it's from, too.

Forum consensus is that this sounds nothing like a spring reverb though it can still be a fun sound design tool as long as you're not actually looking for the drip that is associated with a real spring reverb. I bought it at huge discount and treat it as its own kind of sound mangler...not a spring reverb.

I think Blackhole is worth it, especially on sale, if you enjoy expansive sci-fi reverb spaces for your instruments. It has a depth and eeriness that goes beyond Alteza...I think of Alteza as a prettier reverb, especially given the shimmer, while Blackhole feels more ominous. The app has a very intuitive touch strip that you can map to multiple knobs so you can 'play' the reverb parameters in real time...Great fun to tweak if you have a midi sequence playing your instrument as you can just focus on altering the reverb in a musical way.

I think BYOD has a free spring reverb. And while I don't own it, people have been saying that Springs is a real deal spring reverb with vintage character.

  • Music Drum Pad - Beat Maker Pro is free usually $.99 does have a monthly IAP subscription for $2.99

Springs has a collection of 20 unique “spring” reverb models from a tiny battery powered reverb unit to a massive tunnel verb with 6 springs… a mix if mono and stereo option. Lot’s of controls to further tweak the effects stage of the app. The tech is a mix of modeling and convolution approaches.

  • AudioThing sales:

SR-88 Analog Drum Machine $4-99 down from $9-99.

    miniBit 8bit Synthesizer $4-99 down from $9-99.

I concur this spring reverb on a snare sound closer to a ‘real’ spring. However the eventide apps are awesome, have thier unique characteristics and a great deal atm!

Tbh, for spring reverbs I would always use impulse responses in convolution reverbs (like in Drambo, Thafknar, AltiSpace 2) because there's no pitch shifting or other tricks involved and also because there's an incredible variety of spring reverbs out there. Some sound almost as smooth as a plate reverb (AKG has built some advanced models using many different chained springs), others sound as ugly as f., giving them that distinctive character.

See how many different spring reverbs have been captured by PastToFutureReverbs alone:

There’s a decent amount of apps that load ir’s these days, a couple free ones. On top of the ones mentioned….

    Nembrini IR Loader
    jAmp IR is Free
Primo for iPad is Free and lets you load IR’s, but iPad only
Several of the Aurora DSP Amp Sims load ir’s

    @raimundoarriagada It's the "Convolver" module.

Is there a nice set of instructions or a video walk through of what files you need, where you need to put them, how you use them in the module, how you make your own and what file types work for import?
