I just read on a Facebook group that it will only function as a standalone (will not load as AUv3 or IAA) and will not import samples. To be honest - I think this is fair: it gives you a chance to see how it functions and sounds (albeit without sample import). Which is can be good to see how it plays. I might just wait for a discount, but this is a good way to try before you buy.
