  • Wood synth is way more bannannas than I thought! It's very in depth, wow. Time will tell how the programming is, but it is ultra overwhelming, haha. 4 independent synths, yikes...cheers tho. tips or tricks?

  • just got the 101 page manual! I would rather have it be huge and comprehensive. This is great.

  • So I wonder, can you use the sequencer as a midi out to sequence other auv3 synths?

Yeah, I’ve been waiting for a sale of this, and it is wilder than I thought! Love the big manual, and look forward to dig into it properly. And I think I read somwhere in here that @Spidericemidas was currently working on a set of presets for it, which would be the final stamp of approval! ;-)

iDousyn is free and the lifetime unlock is free previously $9.99

IMHO, this is a terribly designed app, UI, sound, everything. Just bad!

Don’t even waste your time on this one y’all!

I did the lifetime unlock thing, thinking that it would somehow make the app “good”, or at least a little better without the ads and such, but no, it’s just a bad app through and through.

    Deleted!

    Whoa, fo reals. Cool.

    Woodsynth sale until July 15th

Yea, it has a ton of presets, but I wouldn’t pay for this one. It goes free occasionally anyway.

  • Dear Friends & Fellow Forum Members,

I hope this message finds you well, It’s already the end of the second quarter. So far the summer has started off well, with a decent amount of app sales, and many more to come. The summer can be a great time for sales, since people spend more time outside, they spend less time on devices and therefore purchase less apps. Most of you probably already know where I am going with this, but I share my PayPal and Kofi account details at the end of each quarter in an effort to help support my work with the iOS app sales thread. Full time employment has been elusive so any donation, big or small, would be helpful.

If you are able to donate, any amount would really go a long way in helping me to continue this thread. Your support, assistance, and help over the years has meant the world to me. I’m truly grateful for this community, and the people involved. Special thanks to those who help share sales/information, sent me an app code, donated, or supported my work.

PayPal is the preferred method, but Kofi is also an option. Thank you for your time and support. Cheers!

I’m assuming that means both internally AUv3 and externally hardware, maybe someone with the app can confirm.

  • @Slush @Poppadocrock : yes the Sequencer can output midi out :

From v3.5 on, WoodSynth will now also send (on top of the note-on/off) :
a velocity value set to the step volume (only when midi v2 is on).
CC74 messages with value set to Sequencer param2.
Mod wheel (CC 1) messages with value set to Sequencer param3.
Pitch wheel messages where a non zero value comes from Osc1 detune or from the sub-semitones (only when midi v2 is on)

When midi V2 is on the messages will use the 16/32 bits resolution.

    best,
    Woodman
