Turn off Drambo MIDI Note Receiver
Hello Audiobus Community,
I have a Loopy Pro MIDI controller I made which sends MIDI Note to Koala Sampler on bank A and MIDI CCs mapped to a Drambo patch on bank B. Everything is routed via Audiobus, the problem is: whenever I send MIDI Note to Koala to trigger a pad, it automatically sends MIDI Note to Drambo keyboard too, changing the starting note. Is there a way to block or filter receiving MIDI Note in Drambo? Can I lock the built-in Keyboard to a specific note so that there's no changing when receiving a MIDI note?

It would be helpful if you could post screenshots of the Audiobus setup and show the Loopy Pro MIDI controller you mention and its setup.
I think you're going to need something like mfxStrip between Loopy Pro and Drambo on the Audiobus midi routing page to block the notes, but as noted by @espiegel123, at a minimum the Audiobus setup needs to be understood.
un route the note cv by triple tapping the note icon on the sampler?
Each track in Drambo has its own MIDI receive settings.
These are independent from MIDI control.
Thank you for your answers, I still haven't figured out how to block Drambo keyboard from receiving MIDI note. Here's my Midi routing in Audiobus: Loopy Pro sends MIDI to both Drambo and Koala. Bank A Controller in Loopy sends MIDI cc to Drambo and is Midi mapped correctly: Bank B Controller in Loopy is still work in progress, but essentially mirrors Koala pads and sends Midi note (koala can't receive CC):
The problem is, when pressing the pad in Loopy, it sends MIDI Note to Drambo too, but I don't want to. What can I do?
@marcoauti2000 : What MIDI do you want to get from Loopy to Drambo?
Solution 1. One solution is to put the same instance of Loopy Pro as the top of two MIDI Lanes. One lane goes from Loopy to Drambo and one from Loopy to Koala. Both lanes would be the same loopy instance. Put a MIDI filter of some sort (streambyter, mozaic, MFX Convert, MIDI Tools) between Loopy Pro and Drambo and filter out the MIDI data that you don't want to reach Drambo.
Solution 2. Another solution is to send MIDI to Drambo and Koala and different channels and in Drambo, you can tell Drambo to only listen to a particular channel. If you tap on the header of the track, there are track settings for the MIDI Input. by default tracks receive any channel. You can set the tracks to receive only the channel that you use for Drambo.
Solution 3. Use Loopy Pro as your host. Routing and filtering will be easier to set up and the setup will be more CPU and memory efficient, too.
Thank you so much! I resolved the issue by using Loopy Pro as my main Mixer interface. I'm liking the workflow sofar :]
