As I've always said, it doesn't matter if you have the best gear in the world or a basic iPad and a few apps, it comes down to one thing. You as a creative talent. Yes, it helps if you have some good stuff, but if you can't create good melodies, riffs or whatever, the flash gear is about as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike.
