AUM will not change to landscape?

Trying it out on my iphone 15 pro max...when I try to go to landscape, I can see a rotating box, however the screen stays in portrait.

Anyone else had this issue?

The AUM mixer screen? It doesn't have a landscape mode on the phone. Only AUv3 windows will rotate.

Thanks wim, yes I have discovered that now...weird. Having the instruments changing but not the mixing screen...sorta makes it unusable really. Especially with several instruments/efx loaded!

So we'll scratch that idea. One step forward three back hahaha!

I'm not fond of it that way either, but loads and loads of people seem to be ok with it. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Loopy Pro and Drambo are good hosts that do rotate and scale pretty nicely. I've only tested EG Nodes a tiny bit, but it hosts pretty nicely in landscape mode only.

Thanks - was thinking of maybe Audiobus instead? It's only for playing instruments live...be handy if I can load up audio trax too, but I don't think it can.

I think Drambo may take a bit long to learn...

  • Good choice. Audiobus is wonderful.

Even if you don’t use looping , Loopy Pro is an excellent host . The mixer architecture is richer than Audiobus as it has buses and sends and lets you create work surfaces to control your AUs
