Potential prob w/my M-Audio MIDI controller - poss to fix?

HNY first of all!
I hope you all had some decent downtime and chance to tinker!
-me? My iPad usb-c port was kaput, from August last yr, and took on/off about 5month to resolve! (yes!)
so I am delighted to have it working again for £135 fix. (Local shop).
--back it then, I reinstated my midi setup (aud interface Beringer 404, M-Audio 61 key midi controller), usb-c dongle.
--but I have a prob with the keyboard I think.
I noticed it around mid 2023 but it was rare. I then shelved it (6months) stored vertically, clean environment 👍🏻
Trying it again today though, bigger widespread midi knob issues ☹️
basically I think the electronics (somewhere inside the keyb) are in trouble. And I'm wondering is there any way to fix it?
It's a fairly basic bit of kit compared to a lot, though it is quite old. Got hold of it re-furbed when working for a music dept. in a college.

Anyone have experience fixing midi keyboard internals?
it'll probably need opening up..
