@espiegel123 that template project is so inspiring, thanks for sharing it!.
Clear, precise and to the point. Love it.
Great pragmatic approach. I believe the practical approach might guide the choice of Hammerhead as the rhythm app. It has a wide range of sounds, integrated sequencer and, most importantly, scene selection midi is pre-mapped.
I would have gone for Drambo, but probably not a wise choice for a template, as I believe I’d have to do the midi mapping every time, for every preset. Brings me back to how I haven’t found a rhythm app that is “just right”. Digistix would also be a good choice as scene changes are also fixed midi mapped, but I can’t stand the UI…
Also love the “preset” approach. Have some different sounds ready and just get to playing fast, you can always fine tune later.
Again, thanks for the great template!.

No problem. I look forward to seeing what people come up with once they start thinking about the Loopy as controller aspect of things. I have only scratched the surface. Hammerhead is looking like a nice complement to Loopy. I am trying to think up some ways of integrating it into a song-looper template I have been fiddling with.

Really grateful for you sharing your preset! I reverse engineered it to see how you created it and as a guitar player your thought process on effects etc!

I tweaked it big time! It was way too advanced for my needs lol!

So I have a Red button called Lead that triggers the OD & Pitch widgets. These 2 widgets the OD & Pitch, each toggle an effect. For OD, I have BYOD preset for Tube Screamer and for Pitch, I have BYOD set to Poly Octave!
    I love it!!!!

For my swells, I setup a Swlls Widget which I wish would lit up like my Lead one does but I can't figure it out. Well, I set that one to trigger Delay, Reverb and Shimmer widgets. Each of those widgets toggle an effects like K7D delay, Blackhole Reverb and Shimmer Reverb from Eventide.

I also set up the Tap Tempo widget and it really works with Loopy Pro!!

This is the most amazing app ever created man! Thank you so much @michael.

I also created empy extra pages to serve as Songs within my set, but I still can't figure out how to copy the entire Config page to the other pages.

Here's a pic of the setup.

The Swells widget is a dial. Dials don’t light up. If its action works in a button, you can set it up as a button.

To copy things to another page, select them by drawing a rectangle around them and copy. Then go to another page and paste.

You can also create a new page that is a copy of the current page by long pressing the + button that creates a new page.

Is 5 pages the max you can create? I have pages up to E and the plus sign is gone. Also, hoe do I set a different BPM for each page?

Never mind, figured out how to see the plus sign again? Need to be in edit mode. Lol

But still can't figure out how to save a different BPM for each page. I'd appreciate any help.

add an adjust tempo action to the select page follow action. Get to project-wide follow actions via the Control Settings panel.

Thank you so much! I got my setup so rock solid sounding, I think it's ready for Sunday Church worship!!!
What a difference it made to lower the oversampling level of BYOD to 1X. It is a huge CPU savings!

@espiegel123 I got two midi switches programmed to cycle thru the pages. But how can I program them to cycle back and forth not just forward? In the event I'm on stage and select thr wrong page, I'd have to go thru all of them and return to the first one. I'd like to be able to have 2 midi switches move back and forth on the pages? Hope it makes sense.

The switch page action lets you specify next page of previous page or a specific page.

I found it, but trying to figure out how to assign a midi switch to it. Do I have to assign the command to each page individually?

  • So I went into edit mode and went into midi Learn mode to program the midi Learn switches for the pages. So the Actions Switch page came up. It seems that I might need 3 midi switches setup one to return to main page and the other 2 switches to cycle between forward and previous..does that sound right?

It’s really a matter of personal preference.

  • Yeah, I learned that there are so many ways to achieve the same goal in Loppy Pro! It is truly an amazing beyond real app!

I was able to go into the Control Settings under Current Project. Selected my project's mido setup file and once in there, saw all the midi bindings. Was able to edit the foot controller midi commands and delete the wrong ones, even midi Learn the switches to go forward or previous! Blows my mind!!!!
Now only 2 switches have to be used for going forward or previous pages!

Beyond amazed at what Loopy Pro can do. So grateful!
