Korg Gadget Stockholm Au - where is user folder for rex files? [Solved]

When using Stockholm as a plugin, in Cubasis or Logic Pro, I cant find a way to import my own rex files into the 8 slots.

In Gadget standalone mode, the files can be found in iCloud drive -> Korg Gadget -> User Samples, but for au, it just shows a “Documents” folder.

The complete set selector, pops up the ipad file system in au mode, but the individual slot buttons does not give that option.

Can someone help?

  • Importing user files into the au version isn’t working at the moment unfortunately. Hopefully it’s an oversight on Korg’s part and we get a fix for it.

  • I’ve tried six ways from Sunday and cannot get AU import to work.

  • Yes, this needs to be fixed by Korg as it seems.

  • Just a tip, file all feature requests (under bug reports) over at the Korg site https://support.korguser.net/hc/en-us
File them as 'requests' and you'll get a confirmation e-mail with a tracking number for followup :sunglasses:
(You can send a 'reminder' to them by replying to the message if things don't start moving within a week or two).

  • Thanks all, and thanks @Samu , I filed a bug request at that place.

I imported the files rex into the gadgets folder on the iPad and restart.
it finds and imports them without problems.
    I wasn't able (🤓) to create a specific folder

    Was that in the auv3?

Well I originally didn’t see any of my user presets, but a day ago they were in there for both Bilbao, and Abu Dahbi. Only 2 I checked.

I did open the standalone, and went to my user presets folder just to take a look and make sure they were still there, maybe that triggered some kind of cross loading of the user presets to the AU. I’m just guessing though.

I also restarted device somewhere in there…

  • I got a reply from Korg about it:

    “ Hello,.
Thank you for reporting the error with Stockholm.
We have confirmed the situation you described and requested a fix for the developer team.
Hopefully we can soon release a corrected version.
If you have any further reports or requests, please don't hesitate to contact us.

    Best regards,

    KORG App Team”

    So fingers crossed 🤞
