2024 app updates

renewing the 2023 thread a little
got an impulse to do this after I saw the last touchviz update, 12 years since release and going steady..
realizing that you can play the app, change videos and parameters,.. and that everything goes out and can be recorded and played back after through MIDI was an eye-opener for me

small video made with touchviz (recorded and played in/by Logic), the CGA effect is from Retrospecs also a great and long lasting video app..

  • Love it! So far I think Korg Gadget is out with an early lead for "app update of the year" but the year has just begun. Will this be the year that Loopy Pro gets MIDI loops? Will Logic get MIDI learn? Will Korg finally release their vintage synths as AUv3's? Will Arturia release iSpark AUv3? New versions of the Waldorf apps? (Just kidding about those two. Probably!) Maybe 2024 will be an interesting year for some of the old iOS classics!

  • 2024 most wanted app must be the coming Synthmaster v3.

Also, would be awesome if we get Cherry Audio whole catalogue of vintage synths (replicas). Wow if that will happens!

One last wish for 2024 would be an update from Propellerhead Reason Studio on their masterpiece Thor Polyphonic Synth - we are many out there longing for Thor as an AUv3 instrument.
