Nicely orchestrated. I particularly liked where it was brought down to just the organ-like sound and then when it came up again to the more gated sound. Not just pleasurable in orchestration of notes, but how it uses what are quite obviously very modern instruments along with an appreciation for pioneering electronic music arrangements.
It’s funny, that after all these years, and all of the amazing synths that have come about, that iSEM is still showing up and holding its own. One of the first synths I ever bought on the iPad (along with Thor.. RIP sniff sniff)…. and still sounds amazing!
And you’re really selling me on iSymphonic; one that I’ve never purchased.

Thx @michael_m i like that quiet part, too. Since nothing is pre planned these things just happen in my music, often by happenstance.
@Edward_Alexander I’m not sure you can’t do as well with Korg Module, BeatHawk and PureSynth Platinum. Although the entry into iSymph is inexpensive and gives you a lot of good strings.
Wendy Carlos is one of my biggest inspirations and one of the main reasons I got into synths alongside Gary Numan and Joy Division. I desperately hope all of her music can be easily accessed some day. It can be hard to come by these days.

Yeah at least when I search only a couple things come up here and there. And it’s always instantly taken off of YouTube if someone uploads. And not much on other streaming. If I had the space I’d love to just buy her entire discography. It would be worth it for sure.

Unfortunately I don’t have space for a turntable. We have one but have nowhere to put it + the speakers sadly. Nice to know it’s out there though. Maybe they can do a streaming deal eventually.
