Is Droneo finally dead? Hope not… [edit: worksagain?]
Update: I’m happy to report it seems to be launching again…
Rarely mentioned but much-beloved IAA dronemacher Droneo seems not to be working on iOS 16.4.1. Any other reports?****

Working in 17.0.3. I forgot about this gem! Thx for the re-visit she purrs like a kitten
Whew you scared me for a minute haha I love this app so that would be a definite bummer. I own all of the devs other apps too and they’re also great. Autoharp and Enumero especially.
Sorry for the false alarm. I’ll have to check those other two out… pretty sure I’ve never even heard of Enumero… > @HotStrange said:
As with all his apps they’re very…interesting. Enumero and Autoharp especially are unlike anything else on the App Store.
Thanks for the reminder! It gave me last push to finally get Droneo and Enumero today, and they are both weird and wonderful, when you get past the very old school interface. (And I can confirm they both run fine on my iPad with OS 16.6.1.)
Glad you’re enjoying them. I think these apps get sadly overlooked. Probably because IAA only but I think they’re excellent.
I used to fret about droneo’s lack of landscape mode. But then I realized: Just learn to use apps sideways. Problem solved, indeed, many problems solved.
Glad to hear it!
Oh my… I’ve owned enumero for aeons. Once bought, then forgotten. When I just looked at it on the App store, I thought “why would I buy an app for counting?” I don’t even know what it does yet but now I’m excited.
Edit: i’m slightly daunted. Is it daunting?
Re-edit: holy Conet this is fewkin coool
How do you enable background audio in Enumerator?
I stumbled over this too! :-) You do it the main iPad app settings (i.e. not inside the app itself.)
It works wonderfully in AUM over drones from Droneo. Very hypnotic!
Awesome, thanks! That combo indeed sounds mesmerizing, can’t wait to try it!
Big fan of the “M and D” setting at the moment! With the higher numbers/longer words it can be quite funky!
And “Morse Code” sound great through a pitch shifting delay!
