Snooze You Lose
This features vocals by Frank Zozky that I found on Looperman. I don’t do much with vocals, and even less rap music, and I figured what the hell. This uses some loops from Blocs Wave, DrumComputer, iM1, Mitosynth, and a few other assorted apps. I jump around a bit, trying various synths with MIDI sequences that I punch into the piano roll. When I find something I like, I freeze it and disconnect the synth. It’s an old habit that I fell into years ago when computers weren’t as powerful as today. The track names don’t always match what I actually used. If nothing else, it’s way out of my comfort zone, and a bit different.

The musical backing is great, but I'm not a fan of the vocal - I just hate that over-processed vocal sound.
I love the bass, the percussion, and all the synth sounds though, the track is great. Just sack the vocalist 😆
Counterpoint:
I really like the vocals. But I’ve always loved vocoder like sounds. I wouldn’t call this rap as much as R&B, but I can’t keep up with all the different sub genres of music anymore.
The vocals are a bit obnoxious, I agree. I think that’s what I liked about it. Oh well, it was a fun diversion. Thanks for listening.
I don’t even try anymore. I just tag all my stuff as Paulieworld. Hope your weather is better than ours. Really looking forward to sitting out on the patio again. Have a good one!
