Multitracker with Cue Points

Dear Audiobus Community,
I'm looking for an iOS AUV3 app sampler/multitracker which would make you set cue points and loop sections to long audio stems. Thinking of something like Prime by Loop Community or Playback, but unfortunately they can't be hosted via Loopy Pro or Audiobus, only standalone. Also I'd love it to be MIDI mappable! Are you aware of any app that would do the job? Thanks!

I don't know if it's possible to set loop points to longer samples! Basically I have a long track split into 4 main stems (drums, bass, vox, synths). I'd like to play the tracks from start to finish and eventually trigger specific sections saved with cue point and also loop specific parts of those stems. Prime can do it perfectly but I can't route it inside Loopy

  • One could do if with a little bit of trickery. There is an action in loopy that lets you move the play head to a position in Loopy’s sequencer timeline. You could use that in combination with follow actions of dummy clips to loop sections of the timeline.

Oh that's game changer! Which follow action should I choose to loop sections? I see many options

Seek timeline is the action that moves the sequencer play head. There is soon to be an action to move an individual clip’s play head.

Thank you! Is there in the MIDI/clip page a shortcut to trigger the loop button in the sequencer page? Or should I switch to the sequencer page to loop the timeline section?

  • You could also load loopy AU instances that have this setup if you want to do it independently for different clips.

  • Not sure about memory consumption, but I sometimes load a sample into Koala and then simply copy the pad. This allows me to use different sections of the same sample.

That’s a great idea. You don’t even have to copy the pad, just chop it up.

Koala loads samples into memory , fwiw.

  • @marcoauti2000 : if you can post a demonstration of what you are trying to achieve, I can try to put together an example project.
