Serene and very “distant”.
I love it
I don't have House Mark1 but I'm guessing that's where that deliciously rounded and warm EP sound is coming from. Lovely!
Nice choice of sounds. The background padding is like swirling water, ebbing and flowing, and the EP is like a little boat bobbing and floating on top as the watery padding carries it along. 👍👍
Thank you @jo92346 for the affirmations.
@Spidericemidas. We know from whence those pads come.
To quote Meryl Steep: “Yeats!”
Although you, @LinearLineman, made a great track (as usual) my first thought was of the evocative Judy Collins song.
Not to mention:
Thanks @Wrlds2ndBstGeoshredr and @Stochastically .
Though I am old with wandering
Through hollow lands and hilly lands,
I will find out where she has gone,
And kiss her lips and take her hands;
And walk among long dappled grass,
And pluck till time and times are done,
The silver apples of the moon,
The golden apples of the sun.
That was the first thing I thought when I saw the title (then I remembered Yeats).
This is very relaxing and another one of your surprises - don’t expect this at all but I don’t suppose I had formed any thought of sounds when reading Yeats.
@michael_m lol, I’ve been shaped a lot more by Bradbury than Yeats. I lift a cup of sunlight to you, bro!
Probably more Yeats than Bradbury for me. I raise a cup back to you!
Thx @michael_m. I know your voice! I’m sorry that thread didn’t work out.
Great track. Love the use of mersenne
Me too. I thought it was a really good idea.
