Looking for auto playing relaxing ambient apps - like the Brian Eno apps.
I’m looking for some apps that auto generate relaxing, ambient music/sounds - like the Brain Eno apps “Scape”, “Trope”, “Air” and “Boom”. Something to chill out to.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

RadioUnit tuned to Soma FM Drone Zone or some of the other great stations to be found on there if you look around a bit.
[edit] I found a good one "Enigmatic Immersion" just while writing this post.
Wotja. The randomizing is pretty good about not having to interact with it too much
Wotja, definitely. Also Moodscaper
There's something very satisfying about wiring up my own in miRack. It takes a lot of patching various shit together to get ever evolving textures, but you get that little buzz when you hear a satisfying shift and realize you put that together.
I find I can listen to patches that are mine for longer than I can most pure ambient, because I have some involvement with how it came to be. Otherwise it's hard for me to listen to ambient that doesn't really go anywhere cohesive but just wanders around randomly. At least if something I made wanders around aimlessly, I'm connected to it at least a little.

I run Radio Unit/Drone Zone through Velvet Machine (Too Much of a Stretch preset, 100% wet) in ApeMatrix then slowly oscillate the master output. Sonic Ambien, if that’s what you are looking for.
I like using drambo with various randomizers, modulated envs, CV quantizers, euclidean sequencers and all the beautiful oscillators and resonators. Then I just press a key
Wow - some good suggestions. Thank you.
This is for a non-music making friend. She just wants to launch the app and press "play" and have nice, relaxing audio to de-stress to at the end of a working day.
The Eno and Rob Jackson (Moodscaper etc.) apps are great - I was wondering if there are any other gems like those.
There are many relaxing long (>1hr) clips on YouTube, why does she prefer a dedicated app to this simple solution?
It's none of my business, I'm just curious.
Brian. It’s Brian.
Haha. I thought at first that "Brain Eno" was the name of a developer. It is cool play on his name.
The ad breaks are kinda jarring to me.
There is EoN, the music auto-generator of Jean-Michel Jarre
My top pick that noone has mentioned Piano Motifs. Does have some minor setting up, but highly rewarding if you can put 15 minutes into learning the set up. Can let it play on an endless 128 bar loop.

Thanks @wim I thought I was a little mad for going through my day with MiRack patches in my ears. I call them patches for personal consumption.
Typo - sorry. My brian wasn't working properly when I typed it.
Fixed. Thanks!
