ios17

hey guys,

short question, is there anything relevant in ios 17? aliases for folders?
anything for audio?
still 16 here. haven't found a reason to update.

  • I don't know if this is a general problem or just my iPad 7th gen, but I updated to 17 from an earlier version of 16 last week., and it resulted in significant lag to the gui, and the animated wallpaper stopped working properly. But all the audio stuff seems fine.

There's nothing relevant that I can think of. No downside that I've found either though.
I'm holding off for a few weeks on the latest "point" update just to be sure though.

17.3 contains a bunch of zero-day fixes, you might not want to hold…

I have a second gen iPad Pro 12.9 that I haven’t updated to 17 yet but have kept up to date on 16’s security updates. Am I still good to go?

I think Apple maintain the latest point release of some older major versions, but I don’t remember the details.
