Is it possible to export presets, e.g. custom drum machine designer configs?
Thinking about giving LP a shot. But I want to make sure that I can save, backup and share the preset work I'll put into it, e.g. drum presets from my own sample folders. Mostly to make sure that in case I stop the subscription and resubscribe later so that I don't have to redo all the work.
Got burned by Apple music already where I lost all my playlists. If LP can't export configs then I rather invest the money into a plugin and ignore LP.
Thanks.

I haven’t found a way to export presets.
I hope this apps dies and never gains traction. They're betting on making unbearable to pause the subscription using a strategy called "sunken cost".
This also means that you can't share presets with others to help them getting started.
Here's how it works on desktop. If it works on desktop, one might assume a patch could be saved/exported/shared on iPadOS as well, but I don't have Logic Pro on iPad so I cannot say with certainty.

@NeuM
I've read that both apps are different, that L4iP is based on Garageband with some additions in form of instruments and effects from the desktop version.
I could't find preset exports in the official manual, only projects. Users not being able to find it either isn't a good sign. At this point I assume that it's impossible unless another users confirms that it's possible.
The only workaround seems to be using projects as templates with a machine already loaded. But then there all the other devices where it would get funky without saved presets. Maybe a master project with everything loaded.
Is it possible to unfreeze tracks and devices so that such a master project could be adapted by deleting tracks? Everything loaded at startup wouldn't work on 9th gen I guess.
It's also possible if enough people raise the issue with Apple it will move to the top of the list of things to fix.

Playing with L4iP since yesterday, it's a nice app! Gonna test it myself if the presets and settings persist a cancelation. Usually if I condemn something initially I end up loving it 😂
