An app with Serum like Filters?
Can anyone suggest an ios filters app that has some different types of filters? Hopefully for both iPhone and iPad.
I would love filters similar to the non-standard filters in Serum Synth, like the German or French Low Pass, formants, Reverb filter and some of the crazy multi and morphing filters etc!
Is it possible to get similar results by stacking layers of filters in the channel strip? When I tried something similar in the past the filters would cut each other off. Any tips or tricks for this?
I have BLEASS Filter, TB DualVCF, Ape Filter and FilterStep. I think ApeFilter seems like it can create some similar styles.
Any suggestions would be helpful!

You have some lovely filters in Drambo, including VA and formant. And let’s not forget the resonators, I f’ing love those
SugarBytes WOW2! 21 Filter types, it will eat Serum for breakfast.

This looks great but it’s iPad only. Seems like most of Sugar Bytes iOS apps are iPad only.
Yes! I’ve been on the Drambo grind for a few months and as a new user getting up the learning curve has taken time!
Many AudioThing apps have multi mode filters and a resonance knob, e.g. Speakers in where you can combine different speaker and mic emulations to give the filtered sound a unique timbre. But you need an external LFO or way to automate the cutoff and resonance.
I can say the same, but it’s very rewarding. Drambo is by far the best investment I made on ios, because it’s countless hours of fun. And you need some basic grasp of the modular concept, but you don’t really need to know precisely how everything works to have fun with it. Just turn some knobs and listen how it goes.
I mean it’s the fun of it that’s the purpose of music, right?
Attached some examples - could these be of interest?
OTA-based filters were just mentioned the other day, and this app emulates a hardware with OTA-based allpass filters, although it's not a filter app in the traditional sense. Also in these examples, two instances of the plugin are stacked.
I can send a TestFlight link if you'd like to give it a whirl.
What kind of app is it?
Agreed. And also from Beepstreet, Dagger has some of the best filters I’ve ever had the pleasure of using.
I love dagger (and it’s mini me, the Bbd resonator)
I thought the BBD resonator was the mini-me of Combustor. (?)
I had a brain stop there. You’re totally right!
Some nice sounds and a step in the right direction! I’ll give it a go if you have a spare invite!
