A return to normality ?
After completing Jamuary ( https://forum.audiob.us/discussion/59476/last-day-of-jamuary-2024 ) it’s nice to get back to just making tracks at my own pace.
This is a sort of ambient noodle using Decent Sampler.

Quality on a lot of them could have been better but only having a day to play with forces you to accept some errors and blemishes which is probably a good thing in the grand scheme of things 😊

Nice! Your “own pace” is hard to catch up with. Decent sampler has some good instruments. Did you get the new SFZ player? I’ve found some good free things for that too.

After a stressful day, this is nice to come home to. The nature sounds are soothing. When the weather is nice, we sleep with the window open and wake up to this. Sorry I’ve been a bit absent lately. Take care!
It would be great to see what instruments you’re using in Decent Sampler. It’s an amazing platform for collecting free sampled instruments and making new sampled instruments. I have 175GB of sampled instruments and have spent a total of $10 to purchase the excellent “Ethereal Vocal” product which is encrypted by the way… creators should know that they can make instruments and encrypt the instrument to prevent piracy and sell the product in the Decent Sampler store for IOS, Mac OO or Windows.
FYI: Have you downloaded “The Lobby Piano” from pianobook.co.uk in Decent Sampler format. It’s got all those
damped, muted, plucked, hammered, tapped, and snapped with a couple general upright mic positions too. There are controls to mix them in various amounts into a finished mix, a delay, reverb and low pass filter. It’s unique from all the IOS Piano Products with only PianoTeq 8 coming close for producing extreme manipulated piano mutations.
Listened to it twice. It’s a shame, that it’s only a five minutes composition. I need at least one hour

I’m in the process of reloading all my Decent Sampler stuff as I wasn’t happy with how I’d set it up. It is a great resource. I’ve downloaded Lobby Piano, sounds great, thanks for the suggestion. Can you load the K6 Snapshots preset for it as I get an error ?
