  • Oooooo how exciting! Thank you! Off to update...

  • Excellent, thanks!

  • Thank you so much, well appreciated!👍🏻

  • Love it! 😍

  • Ooh, great! Thank you very much @Spidericemidas

  • They’re great!

  • I went straight to the PADS… They always inspire me to want to make something. This is yet another great batch of evocative PADS.

  • This thread coincidentally had 111 views, I was 112. Thanks @Spidericemidas for 111 new patches for copperhead. Cheers mate!

Thanks, @Spidericemidas. I’ll be going through the list later.

One thing I’ve noticed about every single time Paul updates this synth. All of my own (User) presets get completely erased every time. Anyone else in the same boat? Fortunately, I’ve learned to not trust Copperhead and I now save my own patches elsewhere, then I have to one-by-one load them back in. It’s annoying.

  • Nice one - thanks for making these B)

I've never encountered this behaviour when updating Copperhead. BUT...I do not put anything in the "User" folder. I always create a new bank instead, and nothing ever vanishes from those banks when I do an update.

Also, I may be wrong, but I think you should be able to drag n drop or send whole folders over to the banks section from the docked files app, instead of having to import files one at a time.

    😊👍

Copperhead is especially good for interesting and creative PADS.

Set the onboard sequencer to motion control and you've got a ton of parameters all with their individual lanes available in the sequencer to automate in all sorts of ways! That is a HUGE and important feature of Copperhead. It's so useful!

Slow down the clock division timing of the sequencer, hold down notes, and you get very nice slow movement and variation over time from your automated sequencer lanes.

Hmm... you know what? I have to revise my earlier comment. I lost all of the presets I had created for Copperhead. None are left. And this was DESPITE creating and naming my own folder for custom presets some time ago.

Maybe someone could do me a favor and let me know exactly where the app saves custom presets. Is it in a user accessible folder somewhere? If so, maybe I can use my Time Machine backups to get them back? And I'm talking about the desktop version, not the iPadOS/iOS version.

    Hey 😊
Have you made anything in Copperhead?
I know you favour the more experimental and gritty side of sound design.
I reckon you could come up with some really experimental and gnarly stuff in Copperhead as it can sound quite aggressive and offers huge scope for experimental sound design with the onboard motion sequencing feature.
Some of my bass patches in this bank touch on the aggressive side a little bit, and some of the pad patches touch on the experimental side, which might give you ideas and tempt you into making a Pxlhg bank for it. 👍

    Oh my, that's unfortunate! 😵‍💫
I don't have a desktop. iPad only here. So I am unable to offer any suggestions for the desktop version. I hope you can resolve it successfully! 🤞

I have hardly used it all to be honest, I blame my appoholicism that I own it in the first place. I've kind of got side tracked regarding preset making although I still experiment and create as best I can.
One thing I do not like about Copper is the total stop and a pause when shifting presets, I really like synths that are the opposite and keep some of the sounds from the previous preset blending in to the new when changing, if you know what i mean. We'll see but I don't think it's going to happen in a near future, me making stuff for it. Appreciate the thought though. :)

  • Excellent pack, thank you @Spidericemidas and @4pockets_paul

Thanks, Spider. Ugh, what a mess...

  • @Spidericemidas thanks for your hard work on these patches, great that they’re “officially” included in the synth! :)

I'm happy to get this second bank into Copperhead alongside the previous Arps/Sequences bank.
It's such a good synth capable of covering a huge range of sounds. The onboard motion sequencing offers endless possibilities! 👍

Yeah and I think this second bank might compliment my first bank quite nicely in Copperhead. I try to make sound sets that will work with each other as much as I can.

😁 I hope you enjoy exploring the two banks I have in Copperhead and all the other great banks it ships with now. I believe it ships now with over 500 presets. Plenty of sounds to play with. It's a really great synth with so many excellent on board features 👍

Buying Copperhead I will. Right about now.
