Koala on MacBook M1 pro max

Hi everyone,
it seems so strange to me but every time I try to use the split stems functions it doesn't work (while it's very good on my iPad 8)
Have you any idea to give?
Thank you,

  • Hi @arfo62,

It also happened to me recently. Reinstalling from the AppStore seemed to fix it.

    Hope it works.

    Hi @RobertFernandes,
unfortunately it didn't work... When I click "split stems" selected loop and all empty pads start blinking but nothing happens...
I thought it was a length problem but when I bounced a short section of the song it didn't work as well :(
    Thank you for answering!

    @arfo62, sorry about that.

My version is 1.4081 (5912). Tested again today and it worked.

Maybe you can report that to Marek, the developer, on his website contact form.

  • Hi @RobertFernandes,
I wrote on Discord channel and Marek immediately answered, a couple of times, suggesting me a workaround. He’s really a great programmer and a very kind person.

This feature is not currently supported by koala on Mac. I want to support it but its a lot of work and koala on Mac is free, so for now, pls just use the one on your phone or install the iOS version of koala on your Mac and use that.

    And this is the workaround.

I still have to try it, I’ll let you know.

    Best!

  • Hello @arfo62,

Indeed, the version I have on Mac is the iOS one, I didn’t know there was another one. Thanks for sharing though.
